    Hi everyone
I have sown onions, beetroot, lettuce, peas, brassicas and spinach so far and have them on a hotbed in my polytunnel covered in fleece at night but the hotbed temp had fallen to 20 degr so I refreshed it at the weekend but it is ony at 30 degrees so far. I left some things out the first night of this cold snap then some things looked a bit sorry for themselves so I have brought everything indoors to a heated area for fear of having to start from scratch!
Could I have left them out?

Al those are cold/frost hardy plants so I reckon they would have been fine. I have similar on an unheated bench in my greenhouse, they may freeze tonight though beetroot are still on the hotbed.
