hoeing too deep?

Hello Zuf, it looks a useful hoe and one could hoe less deep than in their film. The bit that concerns me is how the roller bar pulverises soil so fine, I would not do that, best leave the surface more crumbly. I think a fine surface germinates more weed seedlings, and is vulnerable to rain squashing it, possibly making a capped layer, also fine soil is vulnerable to blowing by wind, you can even see that a bit in the film.

A normal oscillating hoe is perhaps better.
