I have a new garden area which will give me around a 1000sq feet of growing space. I’ve been trying to roughly work out whether this is enough to feed a family of four. I know that there are many variables in this, but any information would be appreciated. Fionn
Best look at the results from my 7.5 sq.m beds (under No Dig Growing banner, No Dig Experiment) which yield 100kg in most years.
Yes it depends what you want to eat, on what compost you apply, your growing season etc.
Careful planning and propagating are useful skills, and no dig/succession planting are key too.
