Because our Robins have started on the daw chorus with gusto well before sun rise and my Yucon on the window sill is showing two little green leaves. I do love growing new things when you really don’t know what to expect. I have taken this opportunity to start worrying about how big it will be before I can plant it out and if it will still fit on my window sill 🙂

I reckon you mean yacon which my auto-spell says is bacon. It grows slowly at first so should be ok on your sill until April, then in tunnel or greenhouse, plant after last freest date in May. They grow up to 5 foot high by autumn.
