Good evening all,
Me and my girlfriend have recently taken over a plot, we have dug over half, and have now realised how much work digging over a plot can be!
We are very I rerestedin trying out the modified method on the second half but are unsure where to start.
So the untouched half is just covered over with grass at the moment and it is pretty weedy.
From what I have seen (I may be getting this wrong)
Do we just have to cover the existing grassy area with some sort of cover is cardboard and then continue to cover with good compost and manure? I can then start planting straight into this good soil and the old grass roots and weeds will break down on there own?
Ami correct or am I missing a vital step?
This all seems to good to be true and to easy? I am not complaint though!
Many thanks for any help and sorry if I am being naive!
Kind regards
Ben
