My hens are doing a great job in their temporary run on the lawn. They are scratching out about a half compost bag of moss per day! If I put this on my compost heap am I at risk of spreading moss to the veg plot in future?
I don’t think so, moss somehow appears wherever conditions are right – damp surface for a few months – whether or not one may have spread anything to encourage it.
