I’ve been a gardener for 7 years and i started with no-dig as i was always amazed by soil and life in it. Though i was working mainly with rough mulches and had troubles with sowing seeds, certain plantings etc. Never had probles with slugs in my area, but as i am permaculture consultant i have to keep it in mind. This year everything changed for me, i saw Charles NO DIG ABUNDANCE and was amazed… was always thinking to cover and protect the compost and never though of mulching just with compost! Thank you, my dear gardening friend! In last year no-dig gardening lead me to using mulches that are as fine as possbile, decayed with lots of humus already, but really i had no idea i will be mulching with compost one day.

My biggest surprise this year – module sown and later planted beetroot! Great stuff. Also radichio is doing well!

    Hi Zuf,

Looks great, top job. I agree regards mulching and love the idea of simplifying but being as effective as much as possible; this allows to me to achieve good results aswell as being busy with other things in my life.

    Enjoy your gardening….

Above link (now removed!) is spam. Don’t click, you don’t need loans to start gardening!

Yes I cancelled the account and its content. We have more powerful barriers in place, but even so…!
