Hello
This is my first year of everything so I’m not really sure what’s normal. My winter onions are all planted in no dig soil and the soil is generally loose and free draining and now I’m finding that the electric onions are falling over. Some of the garlic are also doing that a bit but only slightly (they’re much thicker). I gave read the interweb that they fall over when they’re ready but I wasn’t expecting them to be read yet. Some of the leaves have turned yellow but not all and they’re certainly not collectively drooping. I’m also finding a similar falling over of the White onions planted this year as sets in a bed that feels considerable firmer (this was an old bed that I topped up with compost/well rotted manure. Any advice?
