Option 1 for raspberries and what else?

Hello,

I am working on my new allotment no-dig beds which had lots of couch grass on. I have been double thick card boarding then adding mushroom compost (10cm) for my beds.

I don’t have enough compost to this on all my beds so would like to try option 1 (5cm compost mulch then landscape fabric planting through holes) on some of the beds which will be with garden compost.

I will do this for squash, potatoes and courgettes.

Questions:

Will this work also for raspberries? If not how should I best plant them with only 5cm compost mulch?

What other crops will this option 1 also work for?

I have access to lots of partly decomposed horse manure with wood chips. Is the useful for raspberries at all (or indeed anything else)?
