I have just bought your Diary and finding it really helpful in planning my gardening year. Prob I’m being a bit thick but I’m trying to draw up your example bed on page 140 but can’t get the veg you suggest and your spacing to fit 5×16 feet. Is there a diagram somewhere on your website of this example bed?

Hello Gareth, nice to hear the Diary is helping you.
16ft or 192in includes the 1in boards, so it’s 190in.
Allow 5in from one end for the first row of potatoes, and 5in from the other end for the first row of lettuce.
