Not sure whether to post under fruit or vegetables but I have potted on my tomato seedlings and am very tight for space indoors. I have plenty of space in my conservatory but it is not heated and the temperature drops to just over 5degs at night. Will they be OK at this temperature?
5C at night is well within a tomato plant’s tolerance, mine were below that last night in the greenhouse and are healthy. Just be sure of keeping them unfrozen!
last night it was -0.8degs in my polytunnel, 3.5degs on my cooling hotbed, that and two layers of fleece enough to keep the tomatoes happy!
