Can anyone in this forum advise or offer resources on planting new fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry, plum) using the no dig method? I’ve used the search function but haven’t found definitive advice. My soil (coastal BC) is ‘mexicana’, reddy-brown, silty and dense. Very difficult to dig. Not hugely fertile.
Also wondering if there are specific instructions for preparing a raspberry bed, or if you simply follow the same advice as for vegetable beds. I’ll be laying down cardboard then 6 inches of compost as there are some hardy weeds to suppress.

Yes raspberries the same.
Fruit trees I make a hole the size of the rootball, have not tried no dig….
