    i want to re arrange my raspberry cage by moving about 6/7 canes about 2 foot so i can make a central path. when would be the best time to do this. (they are autumn variety)
    i have horse manure,leaf mould and compost available.

     Between November and March is best when canes are dormant, keep your compost for a surface mulch after planting roots into soil without organic matter added in it, just soil in the planting holes.

    should i be cutting back to 6″ before re planting
