Hi, I just wanted to check if this is the off-season for red-veined sorrel (May-June). Mine has leaves no longer than 5-6cm and is tough/leathery with a nasty astringency. The beautiful regular sorrel nearby has a lovely spritzy flavour I’ve come to know and love about sorrel. Please tell me the red-veined variety gets better as I was so excited to be growing it? Thanks, Liz
I don’t know, but I’ll second what you’re saying. I bought bloody dock last year and it’s not done a thing so far.
