I have left over-large runner beans on the plants for seed. Will this stop the plants producing more beans thinking that they are now entering their seeding phase?
From what I see on my Czar plnats, which I have not picked at all and are therefore full of swelling pods, you will be fine. Because these plants with lots of maturing pods are also growing many more young ones. As long as there is orhganic matter for the roots and moisture.
