Hi Charles, firstly thank you for the course on Saturday last week. Learnt a lot and came away inspired. Setting up my second bed today I discovered a ribbon of concrete running across the area. The shape is irregular and it’s maximum is two feet wide. Torn as to try and remove it or continue to set up the bed as per your methods.

    Thanks Ray

Thanks Ray and I would hit the concrete with a sledgehammer, to check its depth. If it breaks quite easily, its worth removing.
Otherwise you can lay compost over, and plants will root around and then underneath it.

Thanks Charles, I have already tested with a sledge hammer and it is removable. Ray
