Hey Charles, in video you planted salad much deeply that i usualy do. Compost in dry weahter is briliant for this. Is it the same with deep platning in compost in case of wet spring?
I wonder about sowing carrots also, you walked on soil before and after. Do you do the same in wet spring?
I do say in the video that I am walking on the drill because it is dry and the forecast was more dry weather, so yes, in wet weather I would not do that. When planting, I always set them deep as you saw there, to keep moisture around the roots and shorten stems above ground – again, in wet weatherr, just a little less deep.
