sowing in clumps and successional sowings

Hello Charles,

I noticed a few posts where you mention that you now sow in singles or twos for parsley, dill, spinach.
Does this also apply to peas, beetroot, onions, salad onions, chard, coriander?

Also I have trouble working out how I should organise my successional sowings. I have now planted/will do in next few days broad beans, shelling peas, sugar snap peas, salad onions, all year cauliflower, parsley, spinach, coriander, dill, lettuces.

Should I do successional sowings for all of these? Does that mean I must sow them again every how many weeks?

Lottie I can’t keep replying to long questions like this, you need my Organic Gardening book for example, its all there and spacings, timings etc. For many veg one sowing is enough, in their best season, check that. For others, a second sowing in early summer, see the sowing timeline too.
