    Hi Charles

I think my plants (especially cucumbers and aubergines) have suffered for the past 2 years from red spider mites attacks. This was in my polytunnel. I only realised this when it was too late.

Do you get red spider mite in your tunnel? Do you use Amblyseius or phytoseiulus?

What would you recommend? At the moment I still have some winter salad etc in tunnel.

Spider mites love dry conditions, so I’ve got a separate ‘wet’ greenhouse for cucumbers, which are particularly sensitive to spider mite. On the other hand, tomato blight wants damp conditions, and that’s why our separate tomato greenhouse is kept as dry as possible during summer and autumn.

That would be ideal, thanks for your suggestions!
