    I was surprised to find buds fit to burst today on my black currant. Hope it doesn’t get too far advanced only to be hit by a late frost!

    Spring is certainly on its way though as here are snow drops out, catkins and weeds growing well every where. I can see I have been a bit slack with the weeding in this wet weather really must just pull on the waterproofs and get on with it!

     You are right Bluebell, new weeds are a downside of the mild weather. Another one is that carrots, potatoes, onions are showing more inclination to sprout in store.

    But the feeling of spring is wonderful.
