Hi
I have several squash Crown Prince and Red Kuri that are a size which is harvestable, I am inclined do do this so the nutrients can then feed the remaining smaller squashes? Any problems with this line of thinking?
Hello David, the answer depends whether you want them for winter storage, if so you need to wait until the skins are hard and the necks are shrivelled or shrivelling.
If you harvest them now, they are after-fleshed and will store for less time.
