    Squirrels.
The other day when I got to the allotment their were a few plot holders in a huddle looking at the ground. they called me over to take a look, I could not believe what I saw . It was a row of young Beetroot but all the leaves wear on the floor .The small beets had been eaten . I said I must have lucky I had already had my first lot and pickled it .A plot holder said he came early one morning and saw a squirrel running away. I went this morning to pick the rest of my beetroot and was horrified ,some of the beets had been half eaten. SO THE WAR IS ON. The . swedes are doing well so I will have to net them Any more beetroot I plant i will do the same .Till we get shut of the vermin hopefully. SLASHER.
