i have recently planted up a border which is quite wide and long, i don’t want to stand on the earth while the plants are settling in. I have access to some wood ‘circles’ cut from tree trunks and wonder if i can use a few of these as stepping stones. i think i know the answer i will receive – are these likely to harbour slugs?
Marjorie, maybe they harbour some slugs, maybe that won’t matter for your plants.
If you feel good about it, I would use them and see how it goes.
