    Whats the best way to stop raspberries from spreading. I planted summer and autumn rasps 2 years ago and its the devil`s own job keeping them in check. They are on sandy soil; anyone got any ideas?

     I hoe them off Pete, and wonder whether it is a more difficult problem on sandy soil?

    Must be Charles, probably combined with young plant vigour, they`re running all over the place and popping up upto 3mtrs away.
