    This year I have been very successfull growing the uchiki kuri squash. As it is not F1 will it grow next year from saved seed and also can the seeds be dried and eaten. It seems such a shame to waste them.

     Good news!
    If no other squash or courgette nearby to cross pollinate, yes to keeping seed. Otherwise they may not come true, but may be good…

    As for eating them, the restaurant I supply said UK are not good but they succeeded with Buttercup seeds, after roasting & then shelling I think. I want to try some here.

    Buttercup or butternut? I have lots of butternut squash as well so will try them.
