    Hiya

Been away for a couple of weeks and come back to really notice we have quite a few volunteer potatoes in last years beds….i’m wondering if I should pull out or leave as long as possible and get a few early spuds….worried they might be more susceptible to blight?

    thanks

How early any harvest may be depends on what variety they are but you will have a few baby potatoes I expect, quite soon – I had some to eat two weeks ago. As for blight, unlikely as you will be removing plants before its warm enough for blight, which is sometime in late June/July usually.
