Our allotment society are not turning the water for the allotment site on until May. We want to start planting especially the seeds which need a long germination time such as parsnips and leeks. You have already suggested we could leave the sowing of parsnips as late as June. Could we also leave sowing leeks until then also?
Leeks need sowing now and it looks like rain is coming. They need a long season.
