No signs of kernels, however. I was therefore surprised to read in ‘The Garden”s monthly ‘Jobs to do in August’ column that harvesting sweetcorn was in order. Is August the usual month to harvest sweetcorn or is September more normal?? 30th July 2015 at 1:20 pm #31537 charlesModerator Yes they are early there but it may be for a warm urban climate and for early varieties. Mostly one harvests in September, you are on course! 31st July 2015 at 3:18 pm #31538 RhysParticipant Thanks – that’s what thought. 4th August 2015 at 6:15 pm #31605 Adrian58Participant Hi Charles I have just started to harvest my sweetcorn I got help with knowing thay were ok as the badger got there first happy days.
