I have only just discovered you Charles, and your no dig methods, via youtube and I have recently read your Gardening Myths book which it gave me a lot more confidence to progress with my second year of fruit and veg.
Last year, having already made a bed using railway sleepers (doh!) and digging like a slave (double doh!), we had limited success before being overtaken by weeds, slugs and losing the will to live. Hence I am so grateful to you for publishing your videos and sharing your experience as I was all for giving up entirely.
As a result I started very late this year and we have cleared the bed of weeds semi mechanically, but tried not to disturb the ground as much and then mulched with our own poultry compost. So that we can do an even better job next year I wanted to ask your advice about which book to read next and then what to follow with. I like the look of the Vegetable Course book, the Diary as well as your newest book Home and Garden. Which one would you recommend I begin with please? and then what should I read after that?

I suggest the diary as that I’ll get you clear on timings and basic methods, then either new book or Organic Gardening
