I’m going to plant up a new Strawberry bed, I was thinking of getting an early type to go in my polytunnel and then just one sort to go outside in my new bed, but which one?
I have been drawn towards the “Everbearers” whichfruit from June to October but are they as good as they sound?
Yes they are good, but you need quite a few to harvest much at one time. Little and often is the way of everbearing strawberries.
If you have still to decide on your everbearers, I would highly recommend Charlotte. They are a French variety that are highly perfumed, taste incredible and store well. Great for market!
