Hi Charles firstly thank you for the winter salad advice we now enjoying great diversity in our winter diet & vertualy self-sufficient in that respect.BUT I have found red Grenobles is very bitter & only edible cooked ,it has grown well although some outdoor plants have actually bolted ??!!I wonder will they become sweeter when spring comes ?is this normal or did I do something wrong such as they were along time waiting to be planted out?Great to see you & Richard Perkins collaborating such enthusiasm ! Any advice great fully received Mandy
