    Hello Charles,

I planted a few different type of salad on the 7th September (2015), I’ve kept them in a green house and now, due to the warm autumn they’re quite large.

Should I keep them in modules in a green house until spring or plant out under fleece?

    Lettuce Bijou
    Lambs lettuce Valentin
    Rocket Wild
    Mustard Oriental Ruby Streaks
    Lettuce Catalogna
Winter Marvel – I guess this should go out!?

    Thanks.

Ok so by planted above, I guess you mean sowed, hence they are all still in modules?
I would plant them out (you could have 2 weeks ago I reckon), no fleece needed until say mid November or later if it stays mild.
Bijou is not so keen on winter weather, I grow only Grenoble Red lettuce in winter, Marvel though should be ok.

    Yes, I meant sown.

This is my first year planting winter salad so I misunderstood the process. I was sowing and expecting to plant out in spring. Hence my surprise as their size.

Could I expect to harvest a little from these plants before winter?

Yes carefully pick a few leaves now and until the weather turns colder, not pick too hard as you say.
