Yarrow in the garden rather than all over it??

I’m not sure I’d call my Yarrow plants ‘weeds’, but there are signs this year that they’d like to go ‘walkabout’ through growing extended roots underground and then emerging half a metre away.

I like Yarrow in the garden and its useful for making compost and tea, but does anyone have any experience of how to control it, other than just hacking it back??
