Thank you Polo – looks delicious – I will give it a try.
Cheers
MikeI have exactly the same problem, also on King Eds, which I have never seen before – I suspect it may be something to do with the season. We have had very little rain here in the New Forest.
Hope you get some spuds!
MikeThank you very much, Cleansweep (I wonder where that comes from!). Very much appreciated
All the best
MikeThat’s very helpful Derek – thank you. I shall follow your example.
MikeI have been 3 rows of strawberries, and have been replacing one row a year until I started the No Dig system.
The 3 rows are now in a bed, and I would like to take out the 3 year old row and replace it with new plants.
Id this acceptable, or should they go into ne ground?
Thanks
MikeGHi Charles
You were discussing harvesting when grown under plastic – thanks for the advice re. harvesting now. The tubers are huge already following cucurbits – no dig. I am so impressed! I have never had such large Charlottes.
Thank you very much for your fantastic advice, my allotment is transformed since I discovered no dig.
All the best
MikeThank you Charles
MikeThat is a very interesting observation re. the oil. Thank’s for that.
MikeThank you Charles.
I have a few bags of chain saw “dust” which I was going to ditch, but will now head for the paths!
Is there no danger of making the paths very acid, as I instinctively think of sawdust as acidic? -
