    Hi Charles, I’ve just sown the above, hoping for a lovely harvest next spring; a really welcome crop at that time.

    I wondered, is it the varieties genetic makeup that delays it producing heads until next March/ April time, or something else?

    Yes Tris it’s the genetic makeup. So it’s kind of programmed to make a curd in spring, and sowing now gives time for a big plant so there should be a big cauliflower!
    Mostly good here and it’s been a lovely May.

    Thanks and glad things going well.

    I grew these a couple of seasons ago and they were lovely; highly recommended if you have the space, all you gardeners out there.

    Yes, May has been brill here too and the plot is almost full and really getting going now…pleasure to behold.
