    Hello,

Wanting to plant aloe vera, dragon fruit/prickly pear.

These are cactus type plants that like good drainage.

Planting in no dig garden style, straight in humus/compost… this is designed for good water retention… would the cactus not work in this? Do you need to mix this with sand to get better drainage?

Also… some plants like a 6 pH, slightly acidic… humus compost is about 7-7.5 pH… how does one lower that?

Fruit trees, lemon/lime trees… do you just dig a hole for the roots and fill the entire hole with the humus/compost once the tree is in?
