Charles, saw your July update and pots of apache peppers. I grow apache every year and was curious as to what size pots your plants ended up in? I put three plants together in a fifteen inch pot and grow three plants separately in 9″ pots. I used to grow them in larger 12″ pots but I seem to get as many peppers in the smaller pots. They all stay mainly in my plastic greenhouse but I bring them out on sunny days. I always have lots of peppers and the excess go straight in the freezer just as they are. They last at least until the next year’s plants start cropping.

Just bumping this one up. Also to let you know I can see a nasty anonymous post at the end of the blackfly on broad beans thread.

Yes Eliza, they are so prolific and many are red already.
I am using pots of three sizes to see: 7, 8 and 10in.
Thans for pointing out that spam, I had just removed it.
