We have an abundance of Beech nut husks at this time of year which do not compost very well or speedily. We’d like to use them as mulch (instead of bark chip) on the paths in-between the raised beds in our veg garden, has anyone done this or know of a reason why we shouldn’t? As we get an annual supply of these husks, it would be great if we could use them in this way. Thank you
