    I am keenly awaiting the start of sowing season, knowing that beetroot will be one of the first. Put up the Christmas present calendar only to see that beetroot is not mentioned in February (nor even March). Is this an omission or have I missed something?

    Charlie, thanks for pointing it out and I can’t believe I omitted one of my fav veg, so sorry.
    Sow Boltardy undercover towards end February and other varieties from early April, still under cover.

    Thanks both for the replies. I can’t believe I’m the first to spot it. We are only human and Charles, you have an incredibly full and busy life. Beetroot was excellent last year, thanks to your knowledge sharing, and so am looking forward to them again this year.
