Slightly off-topic but, apart from the Winter months, when do you think is the best time to be away from your garden?
I need/wish to visit mum in Australia & was thinking of mid-June to mid-July, rainfall willing. Am I risking it? I do not wish to grow peas next year, fyi. My thinking is that seeds could go in for lettuce etc. to be up & rearing to go by the time I come back. Optimist, ain’t I?
Perhaps others have broached this topic before (especially if workshops are planned). Forgive me if I’ve missed a previous thread, and thanks in advance for any advice. I am relatively new to this hemisphere’s seasons.
