I have some Anya potatoes that for a while have not looked to be doing as well as those on neighbouring allotments. Today they appear to have brown spots on the leaves which I assume is the beginnings of blight?

What is best to do? cut of tops and leave a couple of weeks or dig up now?

One advantage of the low temperatures is that it has been too cold for potato blight! Look carefully at those spots and if, as I suspect, they are just small brown spots, there is no need to do anything. Some potato leaves grow like that. If it were blight, leaves become translucently brown and limp in rapidly spreading large patches, and some stems go brown too.
I really would not chop them off!

Thanks for that Charles a fellow allotment holder has also had a look and says nothing to worry about (yet).
