Hello,
I’m looking for some advice as to how to clear bracken. I would like to turn an area that is currently covered with bracken into useful veg growing beds. I’m aware that rolling/stamping on the bracken fronds as they come up will, over time, weaken it, but I assume tht mulching it with black polythene would produce a better and certainly quicker result?
We have no hope of eradicating it fully as the farmland just the other side of the fence is full of it, so it will always be a case of doing our best to keep it at bay.
Any advice much appreciated, thank you you!
