Hi, anyone have any experience on dealing with Bramble with no-dig? Not strictly a veg question this…..We’ve taken over my late Mum’s garden and have been clearing 6-8foot high dense Bramble that was smothering some Rhodedendrons that we planted for my dad 15 years ago. I can’t dig up the roots of the Bramble as it would mean disturbing the Rhody roots (some plants are just about surviving) and I don’t like the idea of weedkiller. Would cardboard and mulch work? And if so how much should I use? I’m worried about effectively fertilizing the bramble and it becoming even more rampant!

    Many thanks, Tess
