Do I keep the plants or dig them out and burn them and start all over again.
I have a row of 24 chive plants and they all have chive rust. I cut out the affect chives but that seems to have been a waste of time as the other chives now have it. This is a new garden so I don’t know the history of what has been grown on this spot. I fear I have to dig them all out and burn them. I hope the two rows of beetroot next to them will be alright. They are looking good at the moment.

I would remove every other plant, cut the remaining ones to literally ground level, spread an inch of compost if you have it, water well, and possibly they will make healthy leaves.
Don’t worry about your beetroot, this rust affects only alliums.
