Hi,
Quick question about compost types. I converted my allotment to no dig last autumn. Beds prepared and and most mulched with mushroom compost Isourced from a building supplier at a reasonable price.
Im ordering more for my fruit and remaining beds (planned for potatoes) but have read that mushroom compost, with it’s slightly high PH is not great for fruit or potoes. Is this true? If so I’ll try the green waste compost (more expensive though!)
