I have been saving and crushing in a pestil and mortar used washed and dried eggshells to use around plants against slugs and snails.
I suddenly had the idea if I crushed some old garlic cloves and mixed that in before using the shells, would it be likely to keep the beasties off even more — ie do we know if bugs like or hate garlic ?
Appreciate any advice. Anything I can do to keep these vile slimy things off would be welcome. Thanks all.
