first earlies planting now?

    Is it worth planting some first earlies now? We bought some foremost reduced. Wondered if mulching so that just the tops show might prevent blight.

    If you have space free, its worth a try. However blight enters through leaves and stems, then downard through sap, so mulching cannot prevent it.
