Hello charles.
I have a bulb of ail rose garlic does this require any special needs as i want to try growing this type. Its supposed to be a excellent garlic. Can i just put them straight in soil or should they go into pots 1stas it is known in France! lovely pink bulbs which store well. Yes plant it now in the soil, grow it as other garlic but I think it is hardneck so best snap off the scape (flowering stem) next spring, to encourage more growth of the bulbs.
I wonder if that is the same variety I bought off a Brittany onion seller? Have planted them so hope they do well.
