I reckon if you get hold of some Pistachio ice-cream your son would be convinced it was a good colour, funny how bribery & corruption works!
Gosh your garden is amazing, the mice got my peas then brussels sprouts, first time around, but I’m catching up with them B’s!! (my docks are wonderful this year!!)

DavidThanks David, nice thought here, he is coming round to the colour even without ice cream!
I hope your seeds are growing now and do slice out some dock roots. I have had a few whoppers and cow parsley too, growing through the mulches, but they are weakening fast now. It would have been simpler though to chop out the top few inches of root first.
