I sowed some green manure on around 7.5sqm of beds in the autumn and I must say when I hoed it off over the weekend, it had bound the soil beautifully.

As no digging is occurring it is now sitting dying on the surface, six to eight weeks before sowing time.

Is it likely to rot down prior to sowing and, if not, is it best to remove it to compost at sowing time?

What did you sow, green manure-wise, Rhys? I’ve grown mustards in the past and hoed and then composted the lot, reasoning that clear beds are less likely to harbour slugs etc.
